The ROYAL litter bin is part of our ROYAL range, specifically developed for Søren Kirkegårds Plads by The Black Diamond in Copenhagen. The clean, smooth look and functional side opening of this bin also make it suitable for other urban spaces. ROYAL has been designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects.

In addition to this litter bin, the ROYAL range also comprises a park bench, a bicycle stand and a bollard. If you decide to invest in the entire range for your outdoor environment, you can be assured not just of a coherent, simple and elegant look, but also a very high degree of functionality.

The ROYAL litter bin provides an elegant fusion of design and functionality.

The design not only takes into consideration users of the bin, but also service staff. It opens and closes by means of a square key. If the product is supplied with an ashtray top, the lock has a dual function: when the key is turned to the left, it empties the contents of the ashtray down into the litter bin. When it is turned to the right, the container can be tilted out for emptying. The design is intended to make things easy and convenient for service staff.

A simple, elegant and solid litter bin for urban spaces

ROYAL is available in three sizes (20, 40 and 60 l), so you can select the perfect size to suit your needs and requirements. If required, it can be supplied with an ashtray in the top.

The actual frame is made from 2 mm stainless steel, which can be glass-blasted or glass-blasted and powder-coated in a choice of RAL colours. The inner container is made from 1 mm galvanised steel.

The installation method for this bin is bolting to the ground.
