The ROYAL Bollard is part of a series developed especially for Søren Kierkegårds Plads (Square) adjacent to the Black Diamond Royal Library in Copenhagen. In a modern, urban context, its clean, simple look really comes into its own, and here, the bollard can help to add structure and beauty to the urban space.

The ROYAL series was designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects. The series is characterised by its pure, unbroken surfaces, which are repeated in all the products in the series.

In addition to the bollard, the ROYAL series consists of a bench, bicycle bollard and litter bin, and if you chose to furnish your outdoor space with several products in the series, not only will you achieve an elegant and simple look, you will also be guaranteed a high degree of functionality. Combining the ROYAL Bollard with the ROYAL C Bicycle Stand to furnish your outdoor space is obviously a good choice. These two complement one another perfectly and provide more design options.

Flat-panel bollard for screening off urban spaces

ROYAL is made of robust, maintenance-friendly materials that are designed to last year after year. Despite its somewhat slender appearance, this is a bollard whose construction and finishing can withstand the rigours of city life, because of the choice of materials used.

All of the items in the ROYAL series are made of hot-dip galvanised steel which makes them highly durable and gives them a long lifetime.

If you’re not after the standard galvanised look in the ROYAL series, you can always choose powder-coating instead. We can apply a powder coating in any RAL colour.

Finally, there is always the option of choosing ROYAL in stainless steel.

Bollard for embedding or bolting on in a modern design

ROYAL is available in several versions, either for bolting to the ground or embedding. If you choose to embed it, you can also choose to have it supplied in a version that is removable using a special triangular key.

All versions, including the bicycle rack, are a good 90 cm tall. They measure 100 x 15 mm, and the bicycle rack has a hole for locking the bike.
