ROYAL C Bicycle Bollard

Design SCHMIDT HAMMER LASSEN ARCHITECTS

The ROYAL C bicycle bollard is a plain steel panel with a cut-out at the top. The design is strong and crisp. The ROYAL C bicycle stand has been designed by SHL Architects as part of the range for Søren Kierkegaards Plads in Copenhagen.

The ROYAL C bicycle bollard is 91.5 cm tall. The cut-out at the top makes it easy for cyclists to lock their bike securely, and at the same time the bollard adds a design touch.

ROYAL C makes it obvious where to park bikes. Together with the ROYAL bollard, the bicycle stand brings a sense of coherence to the landscape architecture. The two bollards are ideal for demarcating an area or emphasising a curve in the built environment. Since the bollards are installed singly, they can be freely positioned. The ROYAL C bicycle bollard is therefore also ideal for making use of confined spaces, such as a corner or alongside an entrance.

The plain steel panel is ideal for adding a logo or symbol to your bollard. Chat with our consultants about the communication possibilities with ROYAL C.

Architect-designed bicycle bollard in durable materials

ROYAL C is made from hot-dip galvanised steel as standard, which can also be powder-coated. All our steel products are hot-dip galvanised before powder coating. This ensures that the steel is still protected if the coating becomes worn.

We can also supply ROYAL C in peened, stainless steel.

No matter which you choose, ROYAL C is a bollard that will stand up to sun, rain and snow. Find out more about the performance and maintenance of our products here.

ROYAL C can be cemented in or bolted to the ground. We recommend that ROYAL C bollards be positioned 120 cm apart, if providing parking for ordinary bikes. If you want to provide parking for cargo bikes too, the gap should be 130 cm.

Promoting cycling as a healthy and environmentally friendly option

Here at HITSA we have been working on products to promote cycling since the company was founded in 1954. We are cycling enthusiasts and support pedal power as an obvious solution to congestion and emission problems and as a health benefit.

Here at HITSA we have extensive experience of planning and installing bicycle parking. We are happy to provide advice on how to make the most of the space available for your bicycle parking facility – whilst also ensuring an attractive appearance. Get in touch with our consultants for a plan or drawing to fit your requirements.

We manufacture our products in-house at our facility in Kolding (Denmark). This means that we can adapt and customise products as required to suit customer needs.
