It stands out as attractive, simple, Nordic-style seating offering a high level of comfort. The integral swivel function allows the user to make the most of the sun, the view or peace and quiet for work. It’s perfect for parks, waterfronts or as an outdoor workplace.

The sun lounger can be supplied with narrow or wide slats, depending on which look you want. Narrow slats can be delivered in sapele mahogany (FSC®-certified), for wide slats you can choose either pine or sapele mahogany (FSC®-certified).

It forms part of our FJORDPARK range, which comprises a broad array of urban furniture. In addition to this reclined seat, the FJORDPARK range consists of a table, two types of benches (with and without backrests) and a litter bin. The concept behind the FJORDPARK range is to create the best possible balance between function and aesthetics.

It has been designed as a solution that is both long-lasting and future-proof for urban spaces and park environments.

Sun lounger for urban spaces made from hot-dip galvanised steel and FSC®-certified mahogany

The curved seat and back of the FJORDPARK sun lounger is mounted on a hot-dip galvanised, steel-profile frame. You can choose to stick with the plain, hot-dip galvanised finish, or opt for powder coating in any RAL colour of your choice. The frame is always hot-dip galvanised before powder coating.

Sapele mahogany (FSC®-certified) is an extremely durable type of wood that requires very little maintenance. If you want to preserve the attractive, warm colour, the wood should be treated regularly with oil.

Reclined seat as part of a range of urban furniture

The FJORDPARK sun lounger works well on its own, but installing a few together dotted around a defined area can also look great. Since it coordinates with the rest of the range in terms of design, items can easily combined in a variety of configurations. For instance, it could be paired with one of the FJORDPARK litter bins. FJORDPARK 1 Litter Bin is clad with wooden slats, identical to those on the seating products. FJORDPARK 4 PLUS is a large litter bin that can be supplied in corten steel, for example.
