JK1 is a classic park bench offering a good level of comfort. The angle between the seat and back makes it comfy for sitting. The JK1 park bench comes with armrests. These make it easier for elderly users and others to get back up again.

Architect Jørgen Klinkby is responsible for the design of the JK1 bench. It features clean lines and a simple, attractive shape, with legs that curve smoothly upwards to form the armrests. Supported by just two legs, the bench seat appears to be almost floating.

The JK1 park bench is available in a classic, galvanised steel finish, or you can choose to have the frame powder-coated in any RAL colour of your choice. For the seat, you can choose slats of oil-treated, FSC®-certified mahogany or pressure-treated pine (nordic).

Whether you choose hot-dip galvanised steel or a powder coating, you can be sure of a durable frame. All the steel components in our products are always hot-dip galvanised.

The benefits of hot-dip galvanised steel are the same for the JK1 bench as for the rest of the products in the HITSA range. The combination of robust steel and hot-dip galvanising gives the frame a hard-wearing surface that is self-repairing in the event of minor damage. At the same time hot-dip galvanised steel requires minimal maintenance. And finally, hot-dip galvanising considerably extends the useful life of products.

Outdoor furniture for cementing in

The JK1 bench is supplied with sturdy slats of either oil-treated, FSC®-certified mahogany or pressure-treated pine (nordic). Whichever type of wood you choose, you can be sure of a bench that requires minimal maintenance.

JK1 is supplied for cementing in. It is equally popular for use in both parks and urban spaces. It coordinates well with many of our other products; for example, CHRISTIAN litter bin or LOUISE litter bin.
