The NORD Bench, a bench without a backrest, is part of the NORD series of outdoor furniture, applying interior design to outdoor environments. In addition to the bench, the series consists of a park bench, a chair and a table. The design of the NORD Bench, like the rest of the products in the series, is simple and attractive.

C.F. Møller Design are the creative team behind the NORD outdoor furniture series.

The seating is made of broad slats that together with the wood’s natural warmth and softness provide comfortable seating. The NORD Bench is available with or without armrests. If the bench is going to be set up in an area with elderly residents, armrests do make it easier to get up from the bench unaided.

The NORD Bench, like the other furniture in the series, has a modern, timeless design. The design’s broad slats give the bench a certain robustness, although the overall look is very light.

The NORD Bench can be set up on its own, but can certainly also be grouped together with other benches or can be combined with park benches, tables and chairs in the same series. The NORD Bench is available for either embedding in or bolting to the ground.

The frame of the NORD Bench is made of hot-dip galvanised steel. You can choose to have it supplied in its natural state, or to have it powder-coated in the RAL colour of your choice.

Soft, harmonious colours blend in discreetly with the background, while brighter colours stand out and make themselves heard. So you will always be able to find a colour that fits any project.

Hot-dip galvanisation provides protection against corrosion of the steel parts, ensuring that they will have a long lifetime. Even if you choose the powder-coated option.

NORD is available in either Sature (silicate treated, nordic pine wood) or untreated FSC®-certified mahogany. Read more about materials here.
