The TERÄS lounge set comprises a lounge chair and lounge table made from aluminium and hot-dip galvanised steel, which is subsequently powder-coated. It provides a homely, Nordic look, giving the feeling of going out onto the terrace of a stylish summer cottage in the Swedish archipelago. The materials are suited to the Scandinavian climate. Our TERÄS furniture will stand up to rain, wind and snow.

The lounge set has been designed to add a cosy feel to cafés, hotel terraces or communal courtyards at housing association properties. The lounge furniture is durable and ideal for use by countless people in public spaces. The items can be purchased as a set or individually.

The lounge table and chair are part of the TERÄS metal furniture range, which also includes a dining table, dining chair, bench and stool. The low-height lounge furniture bears the characteristic design detail of the range – the long, decorative slit in the seat and back.

The entire TERÄS range is durable for both indoor and outdoor use. The materials and design of the range make the furniture suitable for frequent use in all kinds of settings, and maintenance is easy. The furniture is powder-coated steel and aluminium and simply needs wiping down with a damp cloth, regardless of whether it is sited indoors or out.

Outdoor lounge furniture for urban spaces, restaurants and institutions

The design of TERÄS lends itself to evocative colours, and this range of metal furniture is available in any RAL colour. The lounge table and chair are sold separately, so colours can be combined as you choose.

The steel components of TERÄS are always hot-dip galvanised before being powder-coated. This provides double protection against rust.

The frame of the TERÄS lounge set is hot-dip galvanised steel. The seat, back and table top are aluminium. The legs form runners and will therefore not sink into any soft surface, such as grass. The lounge furniture is a reasonable weight and so is not susceptible to being blown over by the wind or easy to walk off with. The lounge chair is also available as a heavier version, with the back and seat made from hot-dip galvanised steel like the frame.
