The DIAN Bollard is a classic from HITSA and is made out of sturdy materials that are designed to withstand wind and weather conditions. There are many different types of bollards on the market, but you see only a few, like DIAN, that are created with respect for and an understanding of what it means to have a consistent design in an urban space.
HITSA has a long tradition of designing, developing and manufacturing series of beautiful urban space furnishings with a coherent design for outdoor areas. DIAN is a series in which the bollard and cycle rack both help to provide a consistent, uniform look in the cityscape. DESIGNIT A/S are the designers behind the products in the DIAN series.
The bollard is usually used to segregate spaces in a larger outdoor space. You can use them to separate areas that are used for different functions such as cycle paths or pathways. Another example could be at the end of a parking area to signal that there are pedestrians beyond this marked boundary.
DIAN is made of hot-dip galvanised steel. Galvanised steel virtually never wears out, requires practically no maintenance, and means that you can count on having a product that will last you for many years to come.
At HITSA, we always hot-dip galvanise all the steel parts in our products, no matter whether they are subsequently powder-coated, or are to be supplied with the pure galvanised surface.
If you do not wish to have the galvanised look, you have the option of choosing powder-coating instead. Here, you can choose any RAL colour you like. Please contact us to hear more about the options available.
DIAN is 80 cm high, measured from the base. It has a diameter of 114 mm.
DIAN is fitted by embedding it in concrete.
