CLASSIC is an attractive and elegant bollard that blends in well with both new and historic architectural urban environments. CLASSIC is made of cast iron, an original alloy that has a long lifetime.

The fine, rounded details in the strong, sturdy cast iron give CLASSIC its exclusive look.

The bollard looks good in black and is supplied in powder-coated RAL 9005 black as standard. However, it is possible to choose another colour if you wish. We can supply it in any RAL colour. Please contact us to hear more about the options available.

The CLASSIC Bollard was designed by Bue Beck, who specialises in restoration and preservation planning.

CLASSIC can be used to enclose an area such as a town square in a historic city centre. Or to separate areas with different functions such as cycle paths or pathways.

Bollard with option of tactile top

CLASSIC is available with a tactile top in the CLASSIC Malmö Tactile version. The tactile top is a specially shaped top designed to help the blind and visually-impaired in traffic. The bollard is placed at a pedestrian crossing, and the relief in the top informs the pedestrian about the flow of traffic. A continuous vertical strip indicates the direction in which the pedestrian should walk. The markings in a crosswise direction indicate the number of lanes to be crossed, and whether there is a traffic island in the middle.

There are five different types of tactile tops to choose from.

CLASSIC Malmö Tactile has a broad groove in the top. The groove can be fitted with a reflective strip in white, red or yellow. The reflective strip makes it easier to locate your position in relation to the bollard in the dark or in poor visibility.

CLASSIC can be supplied as a stationary or removable bollard

The CLASSIC Bollard is 85 cm high. If the CLASSIC Malmö Tactile version is ordered, it is a couple of cm taller.

Both the CLASSIC and CLASSIC Malmö Tactile versions can be supplied as both stationary (for embedding) or removable.
