KODA 5 is a classic and traditional bicycle rack that has been in production for more than 60 years. Users simply need to lift up their bike and wheel it into place with the front wheel resting in the classic M-shaped wheel holder.
The rack is unique in that it requires no assembly. It can simply be positioned on the ground in the desired location, and then relocated as needed. Use KODA 5 for festivals, events or construction projects, when temporary parking is needed for any number of bikes.
KODA 5 can naturally also be used as a more permanent facility. As a permanent solution, it can be installed using ground spikes.
The holders are set at staggered heights, allowing more bikes per metre. This makes KODA 5 an economical solution that provides a large number of bicycle spaces relative to available area.
KODA 5 comes in modules with 5 or 10 parking spaces. The modules can be combined as needed to fit the desired length.
Here at HITSA we have great systems in place for planning and installing bicycle parking, so that the customer ends up with the maximum number of spaces per square metre. Get in touch with our consultants, and we can help in designing the layout for a KODA 5 solution ideally suited to the available space.
We manufacture our products in-house at our steelworks in Latvia and Kolding, Denmark. This allows us to adapt and customise products as required to suit customer needs.
KODA 5 is made from hot-dip galvanised steel, making it a durable system for all weathers. It can be powder-coated in any RAL colour to coordinate with a nursery school or corporate colour scheme. Powder coating takes place at our own painting facility in Kolding.
KODA 5 is a fusion of VEKSØ product KODA 24 and Hitsa product Type 5.
