LIBITUM Shelter

LIBITUM is a single-sided bicycle shelter and a classic among HITSA’s range.

Extra bays can be added to extend the shelter (bays up to 3 metres).

LIBITUM features an attractive and simple design that appears to be almost floating in mid-air. The open design is light, airy and appealing.

Roof materials mean a lot for the overall look and opting for transparent materials means that LIBITUM retains its light and airy look. LIBITUM can also be roofed with trapezoidal steel panels.

LIBITUM has been designed by Eva and Nils Koppel, who were responsible for some of the first shelters in HITSA’s range. This married couple were among the most influential architects of the 20th century, and they favoured simple and timeless design that endures to this day.

Solid-construction shelter

LIBITUM bicycle parking was one of the first shelters in our range. Then as now, the focus is on quality and solid materials.

LIBITUM is made from robust Ø 76 mm hot-dip galvanised tubular steel. Hot-dip galvanising ensures a long useful life and minimal maintenance.

If you don’t want a galvanised finish, LIBITUM can be supplied with a powder coating. We can apply this coating in any RAL colour, and as the frame is hot-dip galvanised before powder coating, it is just as durable and hard-wearing.

LIBITUM is available with guttering and a drainpipe down to the ground, if required.

You can also order LIBITUM with lighting. Lighting makes it more pleasant to use the parking facility after dark, as it provides an increased feeling of safety and security.

LIBITUM is supplied without bicycle racks. It’s possible to combine the shelter with a variety of the bicycle racks from our range.
