With a TERÄS café set you can create a cosy eating area that will stand up to outdoor use by large numbers of people. The set is ideal for urban squares and parks as well as courtyards at housing association properties.

The simple, well-planned design and robust materials ensure the TERÄS café set will last for many years to come.

The table can be combined with four chairs, two benches or a mix of chairs and benches.

Both benches and chairs are available with or without armrests. Armrests provide improved seating comfort, as well as extra support to make it easier to get up and down from the seat for all ages and physical abilities.

The cut-out in the back can be individually customised, e.g. in the shape of a city logo or other logo.

The entire TERÄS range is durable for both indoor and outdoor use. The materials and design of the range make the furniture suitable for frequent use in all kinds of settings, and maintenance is easy. The furniture is powder-coated steel and aluminium and simply needs wiping down with a damp cloth, regardless of whether it is sited indoors or out.

Steel furniture for urban spaces

The design of TERÄS lends itself to bright colours, and the items in the range are available in a selection of colours, which work well with the Nordic simplicity of the metal furniture. We use powder coating, which delivers a fine-grained surface texture. The table, park bench, chair and stool are sold separately, so colours can be combined as you choose. The steel components of TERÄS are always hot-dip galvanised before being powder-coated. This provides double protection against rust.

The frames are hot-dip galvanised, powder-coated steel. The table top is made from powder-coated aluminium. The benches and chairs can be supplied with a back and seat of steel or aluminium, depending on whether you want a lighter or heavier option.

Modern metal furniture in a Nordic style

The TERÄS range of metal furniture has been created by Danish design studio VE2. The range includes a table, park bench, chair and stool, along with a low-height lounge chair and lounge table.

The metal furniture has a lightweight look, yet is durable and robust for outdoor use in urban spaces.

With the bare minimum of essential details, TERÄS furniture boasts a summery, Nordic look. It features a characteristic decorative slit in the back and well-chosen colours.
