MILANO is a sculptural, vertical planting frame that opens out into a funnel shape at the top. As such it serves as a striking feature, both with and without climbing plants.
MILANO does not take up much space and is easily integrated into the urban environment. The frame is ideal for settings not suitable for planting trees, but where you still want to add a touch of greenery.
It is a sturdy structure made from hot-dip galvanised steel and is available in two sizes. The two sizes are the same height, 2850 mm, but differ in diameter. The smaller model has a diameter of 132 mm and 6 vertical ribs, while the larger one has a diameter of 316 mm and 10 vertical ribs.
The MILANO plant frame is to be cemented in.
MILANO can be supplied with a plain, hot-dip galvanised finish – or you can choose to have it powder-coated.
No matter which option you choose, all the steel components in our products are always hot-dip galvanised, including those that are subsequently powder-coated. This ensures excellent durability for the product. And if the coating gets damaged, the steel is still protected against rust thanks to the hot-dip galvanising.
Plant frames like MILANO can help to demarcate different urban areas and create a natural, green boundary in squares and plazas or along pedestrian zones.
Plant frames can typically be used in locations where it’s not possible to plant trees. They form green pillars that beautify the urban space. The frames enable taller plant life without planting trees, allowing the creation of green oases throughout the urban landscape, even in locations with limited space. This helps to create an interesting, attractive and welcoming urban space for local residents and visitors alike.
