Using planters from HITSA’s range it’s easy to make the urban landscape a little greener.

The ESKE planter has a very simple look, making it an ideal fit for countless settings. ESKE measures 1 x 1 metres and is available in two heights, 50 cm and 100 cm. This enables a variety of appealing configurations in urban spaces.

The container rests on four legs and can be moved using a pallet truck. ESKE comes with a capillary system and overflow, making it easy to take care of the plants. With an irrigation system, the plants themselves control how much water they consume. This helps make upkeep of the outdoor space easier for service staff.

The sides and base of ESKE are made from 8 mm steel plate. It is available in either corten steel or hot-dip galvanised steel. Corten steel is designed to rust on the outermost surface. With a planter like ESKE the corten steel will be in contact with soil and often be exposed to moisture. Therefore the steel will not be as durable and long-lasting as in dry conditions.

The hot-dip galvanised surface will initially be shiny, and will then weather to a matt finish in a vibrant, mottled shade of grey.

The planter is maintenance-free, whichever material you choose.

ESKE is fully welded and therefore watertight.

Planter in corten steel or hot-dip galvanised steel

In addition to corten steel and hot-dip galvanised steel, ESKE is also available in powder-coated, hot-dip galvanised steel. You can choose any RAL colour for this, giving the planter its own unique look. Colour can also be used to coordinate the planter with the rest of the outdoor space in terms of design.

ESKE can effectively be combined with other products from HITSA for outdoor spaces. You can use it, for example, to divide an open area into smaller spaces. Why not position *benches* between the containers, to create a welcoming outdoor space for social interaction?
