The round LILY roof canopy offers more than just shelter from the rain or shade from the sun. It creates a sense of space and invites people to linger. Use it on its own or combine several to encourage informal stays in the park, courtyard, playground or on the beach.

With its asymmetrically positioned column, LILY provides space for people to stand underneath it without having to position themselves round a post. It can be placed behind a seating area or a bench, from where it extends outwards to create a spot for a break or to enjoy the view.

LILY is an elegant roof shelter that can also be used in small spaces. It is supported by a single column, formed from four sturdy tubes that unfold to become supports beneath the circular roof. The striking tubes radiate out like veins beneath a giant leaf, evoking associations with something organic and botanical. Accordingly, LILY has been named after a plant – the water lily.

LILY is available in Ø2000 mm and Ø3000 mm. The two sizes can be combined, allowing you to make the most of the interplay between their different heights.

LILY is available in HITSA’s standard SAHARA colours. Powder coating in SAHARA colours produces a durable finish with a fine-grained texture.

Round roof shelter designed by MASU Planning

The LILY shelter was designed by the landscape architects at MASU Planning and was first used on one of their projects in a park in Copenhagen. The aim was to provide shelter and shade without a formal, space-consuming shelter.

The round LILY shelter is installed using a rectangular concrete base, which is then covered with soil. LILY is therefore sturdy and can withstand city life, whilst retaining a refined, elegant and understated appearance.
