The KLIPS bicycle bollard offers a bold, sculptural design and great functionality. The lock bracket, which makes it easy for cyclists to secure their bike, forms a natural part of the overall structure and adds playful angles to the bollard. KLIPS offers front-wheel parking, with a ‘clip’ that is suitable for a number of tyre thicknesses. The bollard is available in a variety of colours, providing scope to create a unique and appealing bicycle parking facility.

KLIPS draws inspiration from the shape of a paper clip and affords the same combination of simplicity and functionality. A length of bar steel curved into a shape that delivers front-wheel parking and lock bracket in one. Its distinctive X profile invites you to roll your bike into place.

KLIPS bicycle bollards are available in hot-dip galvanised steel, for a subtle grey finish, or hot-dip galvanised, powder-coated steel in one of HITSA’s standard colours (see top menu for colours). KLIPS is also offered in SAHARA colours, which have a fine-grained and hard-wearing surface texture. Other SAHARA colours are available as an optional extra. Bicycle bollard scores DGNB points

KLIPS has been designed bearing in mind how good bicycle parking can help to promote cycling. Plenty of space between bikes and easy locking options make life easier for cyclists and can therefore help score points under DGNB sustainability certification. When installing KLIPS, a spacing of 600 mm between each parking spot is ensured, as recommended in Cykelparkeringshåndbogen (the Danish Cyclists’ Federation’s handbook), among others.

The bollard comes welded to an installation base, which can be sunk into the ground or laid in concrete. We recommend laying it in concrete if you want to ensure uniform installation that will remain stable for a long time to come.

When installing individually, your parking facility can be configured as you want. KLIPS can also be installed in rows. Screwing together the installation bases is an easy way to ensure the correct distance without measuring, whether you want straight, slanted or circular parking. The bollard can be used on surfaces such as grass, gravel, pavement, etc. The installation depth is 300 mm, so KLIPS is also suitable for locations where digging deep is not possible.

Bicycle bollard in a variety of colours

With its graphic silhouette, KLIPS is calling out for a single-colour finish. We apply powder coating to hot-dip galvanised steel, giving the bollard two layers of protection against rust. KLIPS is an extremely durable bike rack, resistant to all kinds of weather.

The bollard will stand up to the rigours of urban life thanks to the good-quality materials selected. KLIPS is made from Ø 20 mm bar steel.
